New Horizons Students Learn Science Of Life

New Horizons Elementary School students in Fah Davidson’s kindergarten class are having a blast learning about the science of life, having recently begun incubating 12 chicken eggs. The embryology lesson is made possible with the support of 4-H in collaborating with the South Florida Fair. This interactive program provides the students with real-life skills such as using their science skills to observe, collect information, compare and keep records. The students are counting the days until the chicks hatch. They can’t wait to be proud “parents” and are already thinking of names for their “babies.” Pictured above are kindergarten teacher Fah Davidson and her students with the incubator.
