PBC Schools Honored For Positive Behavior Support

Five Palm Beach County district-operated elementary schools and one middle school have been recognized by Florida’s Positive Behavior Support Project: A Multi-Tiered Support System at the University of South Florida for their efforts in implementing school-wide behavior programs.

The six schools that earned bronze-level status from the project’s Model School program are: Eagles Landing Middle School, Elbridge Gale Elementary School, Greenacres Elementary School, Hidden Oaks Elementary School, Seminole Trails Elementary School and Sunrise Park Elementary School. They join Golden Grove Elementary School, which was recognized last year as a bronze-level school.

Schools must apply for the recognition and demonstrate how they’ve implemented the systems in their schools, and outline the support systems and strategies in place to ensure their programs’ success.

Bronze-level schools are recognized for the innovative, creative and functional ways they’ve implemented positive behavior support throughout their schools.
