Talia Fradkin Recognized By School Board

Wellington resident Talia Fradkin was recognized by Superintendent Dr. Robert Avossa and the Palm Beach County School Board at a meeting on Aug. 19. Fradkin, a senior at Palm Beach Virtual School, was the recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award for outstanding volunteer service to her community. Fradkin received gold level recognition for her many hours of community service in various fields, including volunteer tutoring and computer graphic design and research. Barbieri Jr. (District 5), Board Member Erica Whitfield (District 4), Board Member Karen Brill (District 3), Palm Beach Virtual School Principal Debra Johnson, Fradkin, Board Member Marcia Andrews (District 6) and Board Member Mike Murgio (District 1).
