Several dozen volunteers gathered Saturday, Oct. 1 at Community of Hope Church (14055 Okeechobee Blvd.) to help set up the annual pumpkin patch. Volunteers hauled hay, leaves, buckets, baskets and, of course, pumpkins across the church lawn in anticipation of visitors. The pumpkin patch will be open until Oct. 31.
