The Village of Wellington’s annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony was held Monday, May 29. The parade began at Village Hall with the procession ending at Wellington Veterans Memorial. Veterans were invited to walk in the parade, and spectators lined the street honoring those who served and those who died in service to the nation. Several hundred people were in attendance for the ceremony, which featured speakers from the village and American Legion Post 390. The ceremony concluded with a gun salute and playing of “Taps” by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard.
