The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office once again partnered with the My Brothers/Sisters Keeper Charitable Trust, founded by Jess Santamaria and his family more than 20 years ago, to help make the holidays extra special for families in Belle Glade, Pahokee and South Bay. Through a generous $50,000 donation from the charity, the PBSO was able to purchase $150 Walmart gift cards for families experiencing financial hardship. On Dec. 19, more than 300 families received the $150 gift cards. PBSO deputies worked closely with community stakeholders to identify families most in need, ensuring that the assistance reached those who would benefit most during the holiday season.
