Tiny Eve is the latest Barky Pines Animal Rescue puppy to represent the western communities in the nation’s largest unofficial celebration — Super Bowl Sunday. She’ll be part of Puppy Bowl 2026 on Sunday, Feb. 9.
Now in its 22nd year, Puppy Bowl 2026 features a record-breaking 150 rescue dogs from 72 shelters across the United States, Puerto Rico and the British Virgin Islands.
There also will be a new halftime competition for senior dogs during the three-hour event.
This is the third year in row that the Loxahatchee shelter has had a pooch on the puppy-sized playing field.
Playing for Team Fluff, Tiny Eve has a lot to live up to, since Violet in 2025 and Mr. Bean in 2024 were on the winning teams that hoisted the coveted Walmart “Lombarky” trophy.
Mr. Bean was a ruff-and-tumble participant despite being born with no front legs. There are 15 special needs dogs in this year’s event.
All the puppies are available for adoption.
The game gets under way at 3 p.m. and can be viewed on Animal Planet.
