The Wellington Garden Club recently announced “Garden Inspirations,” an exclusive, self-guided tour of seven private residential gardens on Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Don’t miss this opportunity to explore these unique gardens that are only open to the public for one special day this year. You’ll experience a wide variety of landscape design styles, ranging from a garden designed with native plants, an elegant formal English-style rose garden, and multiple inspiring landscapes that blend Florida native and tropical plants. Beauty, birds and butterflies abound in the gardens! You will be amazed at these spectacular spaces and gather inspiration for your own landscapes, whether large or small.
Vendors selling plants and a wide variety of merchandise to enhance gardens will be located in a cul-de-sac near two of the gardens on the tour. A 50/50 raffle will be held, as well as a raffle to win a private carriage ride donated by Victoria McCullough, whose equestrian property and champion Clydesdale horses are included on the tour.
Tickets for the tour are $60 in advance and are available at www.wellingtongardenglub.org or by calling (740) 243-8843 or (201) 739-2013. Day-of-tour tickets are $75 and will be for sale from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Wellington Village Hall, located at 12300 W. Forest Hill Blvd.
Proceeds will support the club’s youth gardening programs, summer camp and college scholarships, civic beautification projects and environmental efforts.
