Local author J. K. Amerson López will be back at the Wellington Barnes & Noble on Saturday, May 2, from 2 to 4 p.m., to sign copies of her book Embassy Kid: An American Foreign Service Family Memoir. This coming-of-age story takes place during the Cold War, when the author was the eldest daughter of a diplomatic family serving in Latin America, Europe and Washington, D.C. In this tale of identity and belonging, home is everywhere and nowhere, and America feels like the most foreign post of all. Barnes & Noble is located at 10500 W. Forest Hill Blvd. in Wellington.
