A new dessert concept in Palm Beach Gardens is quietly redefining what a pastry can be. MacaronMaestro, a boutique dessert atelier, has introduced the Macroron, an oversized, filled macaron designed not simply to be eaten, but to be experienced.
Nearly eight times the size of a traditional macaron, each Macroron is crafted with a focus on texture, balance and visual presence. Rather than relying solely on sweetness, the dessert centers around a structured composition: delicate almond shells, a restrained sweetness profile and a core of house-made jams or nut-based fillings, all built from scratch using premium ingredients, including Belgian chocolate.
Since opening its first retail location in Palm Beach Gardens, MacaronMaestro has observed an unexpected pattern. Guests don’t simply purchase the dessert; they pause around it. Families share it. Visitors photograph it before taking a bite. The product has evolved into a small, shared moment rather than an individual treat.
This emphasis on experience has led to growing interest from local hospitality venues. MacaronMaestro has begun collaborating with select restaurants and resorts, where Macrorons are increasingly used as plated centerpieces, event desserts and giftable items for guests. Their format allows them to be served without additional kitchen preparation, while maintaining quality over several days when refrigerated.
Founded by Munara Osmonova and her partner, MacaronMaestro reflects a design-forward approach to pastry: one that prioritizes structure, visual identity and emotional response alongside flavor. The concept aligns with a broader shift in hospitality, where presentation and memorability are becoming as important as taste.
MacaronMaestro is located at 7100 Fairway Drive in Palm Beach Gardens and is open to the public six days a week. The company also offers custom designs, seasonal collections and wholesale partnerships with local businesses.
