Local Chefs Unite For Quantum House June 1

Jeff Simms and Greg Quattlebaum

As Quantum House celebrates its 25th anniversary, the organization’s signature fundraising event, Culinary Creations, presented by Patriot Growth Insurance Services, will return on Monday, June 1 at the Wycliffe Golf & Country Club. The chef-driven experience brings together some of the region’s top culinary talent in support of Quantum House’s mission to provide a home away from home for families with children receiving medical treatment in Palm Beach County.

Led by Jeff Simms, executive chef of banquets at the Breakers, Culinary Creations is produced in partnership with the American Culinary Federation’s Palm Beach Chapter and has become one of the area’s most anticipated philanthropic culinary events.

“When you work in hospitality, caring for people is at the heart of everything you do,” Simms said. “Supporting Quantum House brings that to life in a meaningful way. This event allows us to come together as a culinary community and give back to families who need it most.”

The evening will feature tastings and cocktail stations from top local chefs, along with a live auction and call to the heart. The lineup includes talented chefs from the Breakers, the Breakers West Country Club, the Crane Club at Tesoro, Echo Palm Beach, the Delray Dunes Golf & Country Club, the Stonebridge Country Club and Wycliffe.

“Our goal is to remove one of the biggest stressors families face during a medical crisis — where to stay,” President & CEO Greg Quattlebaum said. “During our 25th anniversary year, events like Culinary Creations are especially meaningful, as they allow us to reflect on the thousands of families we’ve served and continue building support for the future.”

Located on the campus of St. Mary’s Medical Center, Quantum House serves approximately 1,500 families each year, providing more than 8,000 nights of stay for those traveling from across the country and internationally. Families often stay for extended periods, on average six weeks, which allows them to remain close to their child during treatment without the burden of securing long-term lodging.

Culinary Creations tickets are $325 per person, and sponsorships are available. For more information, visit www.quantumhouse.org/culinary-creations or contact Bethany Baratelli at [email protected].
