Wellington To Host Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony

Join Wellington and the American Legion Post 390 for a Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on Monday, May 25, as the community comes together to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States.

As the nation commemorates America’s 250th anniversary in 2026, Wellington’s Memorial Day observance also serves as a tribute to the generations of military service members whose dedication and sacrifice have helped preserve the freedoms enjoyed since the country’s founding.

Veterans are invited to participate in the Memorial Day Parade, which begins at 8:15 a.m. at Wellington Village Hall, located at 12300 W. Forest Hill Blvd. The parade will conclude at the Wellington Veterans Memorial, at the corner of Forest Hill and South Shore boulevards, where the Memorial Day Ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Active-duty military personnel and veterans attending the ceremony will have an opportunity to register at the Wellington tent on the morning of the event to be recognized during the program.

To participate in the event or walk in the parade, contact Michelle Garvey, assistant director of community events, at (561) 791-4082.
