Jodie Schmitz, president of the Grandma’s Place Board of Directors, recently announced that the Admiral’s Foundation once again made a generous grant to support the nonprofit’s emergency foster care program.
“This grant will help us fulfil our mission to provide housing, compassionate loving care, educational opportunities and support to the most vulnerable children and families,” Schmitz said.
The proceeds from the grant benefit the emergency foster care program, which provides shelter and loving care to children from birth to the age of 12, who have suffered abuse or neglect and have been removed from their homes.
Based in Royal Palm Beach, Grandma’s Place also provides respite care for young children with disabilities while offering support to their parents/caregivers to maximize each child’s safety and success.
The Admirals Cove Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Club at Admirals Cove. Its mission reflects a vibrant tradition of philanthropy that mirrors the exceptional quality of life that residents enjoy at Admirals Cove. The foundation exists to improve lives in northern Palm Beach County and to strengthen the community through a shared culture of giving.
