Westlake is pulling out all the stops for FourthFest 2026 — and this year, the celebration is bigger, better and happening somewhere new. On Saturday, July 4, from 5 to 9 p.m., the City of Westlake will host its signature Independence Day tradition at the future Seminole Improvement District Park, south of Seminole Ridge High School, marking the event’s first change of venue.
The new location isn’t just a change of scenery — it’s a statement. As Westlake celebrates its 10th anniversary alongside America’s 250th birthday, the move to a larger, more accessible site reflects how far this community has come. The new park offers improved accessibility, easier traffic flow, expanded parking for cars and golf carts, and is within easy walking distance for many Westlake residents.
“FourthFest continues to be one of our community’s most anticipated traditions,” Mayor JohnPaul O’Connor said. “As we celebrate 10 years of Westlake and our nation’s 250th birthday, we’re excited to introduce a new location that allows this event to grow and welcome even more families for a safe, festive, and memorable evening.”
The evening kicks off with an opening ceremony at 5:30 p.m., setting the stage for a night packed with live entertainment. The musical lineup features DJ Saber, 180X Summer and Dancing Queen, plus a special surprise performance that is sure to be a highlight of the night. The celebration culminates with a dazzling fireworks display at 9 p.m.
Beyond the music, FourthFest 2026 delivers a full evening of family-friendly fun — from a wide selection of food trucks and a vibrant vendor marketplace to face painting, a 30-foot rock-climbing wall, toddler-friendly play areas, themed inflatables and carnival-style games. New this year: the Food Village, a dedicated area where local vendors will serve up specialty foods and treats in a relaxed, open-air setting.
Admission and parking are free. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets, sunscreen and reusable water bottles. For safety reasons, coolers, grills, outside alcohol, pets (with the exception of service animals), personal fireworks and cooking appliances are not permitted.
