With the general election just six weeks away, the League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County (LWVPBC) is emphasizing “Every Vote Counts!” with a comprehensive nonpartisan campaign of voter registration, education and candidate engagement.
“This informative multi-platform outreach is targeted at voters across Palm Beach County, including first-time voters,” LWVPBC President Janet Elinoff said.
One major highlight will be a free Election Expo 2026, scheduled for Monday, Sept. 28, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Palm Beach State College gymnasium in Lake Worth. Attendees can meet candidates, learn about the Florida Constitutional Amendments and other ballot questions, such as the referendums for Palm Beach County schools, parks and libraries, pick up nonpartisan voter information, connect with community organizations dedicated to civic engagement and more.
Presenting partners of the expo include Leadership Palm Beach County, Palm Beach State College, the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections, Florida Power & Light, Seacoast Bank, Sierra Club, Searcy Law, and Smith Ball Baez & Prather Florida Injury Lawyers, along with the LWVPBC’s Candidate Forums, Membership and Publications teams. For more details, visit www.lwvpbc.org.
Additional compelling pre-election offerings include:
Voter Registration & Education Events — LWVPBC will host a series of pre-announced, easy-to-access voter registration and education events throughout Palm Beach County at schools, churches, diverse community activities, senior citizen facilities and other popular public locations.
VOTE411 Voters’ Guides — Informative, easy-to-read guides to competitive political campaigns and ballot issues are being disseminated by the LWVPBC, including printed versions in select editions of The Palm Beach Post and available for convenient pick-up at numerous public libraries starting Sept. 27. The online version will be accessible at www.lwvpbc.org.
Voter Information Handcards — LWVPBC is distributing thousands of voter information handcards with two clear messages:
“What’s on YOUR Ballot?” with both a QR code and a web address (www.vote411.org/ballot) for direct access to trusted, localized, nonpartisan voter information. This went live online Sept. 14.
“General Voting Info 2026” with both a QR code and a web address (www.lwvpbc.org/vote2026) to check on voter status, register to vote, update personal voter information, check your vote-by-mail ballot, find polling locations, or research campaigns and candidates.
