Wellington has announced the return of its free Learn to Play Pickleball Clinics beginning this October, with seven clinic dates scheduled through the spring.
Taking place at the pickleball courts at Greenbriar Park (2975 Greenbriar Blvd.), the popular clinic series has introduced dozens of new “pickleballers” to the sport.
Open to ages 10 and up, the clinics are designed for those just starting or who have recently started to play. Participants are guided by experienced coaches and receive instruction on rules, basic strategies and serving. No equipment is necessary.
Clinics are free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required. Register through Wellington’s online recreation catalog at www.wellingtonfl.gov/civicrec. CivicRec account holders can register directly, while those without an account can create one through the catalog before registering. Space is limited. All clinics will be held from 9 a.m. to noon.
