Petrone Technology Group, a Wellington-based technology integration firm, has earned a CEDIA Global Award for its work at the National Polo Center in Wellington, marking one of the company’s most significant industry honors to date.
The award recognizes a technology project completed at one of Wellington’s most prominent landmarks and an internationally recognized destination for high-goal polo.
The National Polo Center project began as an audio system retrofit and ultimately evolved into a significant infrastructure and technology overhaul. Petrone Technology Group designed a new distributed audio system from the ground up, installing underground cabling and infrastructure and extending audio throughout key areas of the property, including the pool, patio and restaurant.
The project also included improvements to the property’s network infrastructure and centralized control, creating a reliable system capable of supporting a large venue while keeping the technology discreet. The permanent system can integrate audio from DJs and special events and distribute it throughout the venue, providing a sophisticated solution designed around the unique demands of the property.
The Global Award comes during a standout year for Petrone Technology Group. The company also earned gold and silver honors in the 2026 CE Pro Home of the Year Awards for its luxury residential work in West Palm Beach.
Edge of the Green earned gold, while Edge Theory received silver, recognizing Petrone Technology Group’s approach to integrating sophisticated automation, lighting, entertainment, networking and other technologies into high-end residential environments while complementing the architecture and interior design.
“Receiving a CEDIA Global Award for a project in our own hometown is incredibly meaningful,” said Anthony Petrone, founder of Petrone Technology Group. “Additionally, to have our residential work recognized with gold and silver by CE Pro in the same year makes this an especially meaningful moment for our entire team.”
Together, the honors put a spotlight on the caliber of technology integration being designed and executed right here in Palm Beach County, from a 161-acre internationally recognized equestrian destination in Wellington to some of West Palm Beach’s most sophisticated luxury residential environments.
