Rosarian Academy Places Second In Cheerleading Competition

Rosarian Academy cheerleaders competed on Saturday, Jan. 24 in the Catholic Athletic League Varsity Cheerleading Competition held at Cardinal Newman High School.

Out of the seven local Catholic schools participating, Rosarian placed second. First place was awarded to St. Clare. The Rosarian cheerleaders received a trophy, a banner and individual medals.

“After a hectic week of replacements and working around injuries, the Rosarian girls pulled it off by placing second,” coach Miranda Comisky said. “I could not be more proud of our girls and all of the hard work and dedication they have put into this season.”
