Lauren Galin, an 11-year-old girl who attends Emerald Cove Middle School, was recently a winner in an international vocal competition and chosen to perform on Saturday, Dec. 26 at Carnegie Hall in New York City. She has performed the national anthem at many Wellington events and is part of the five-girl nonprofit group CAST (Children’s Acting Singing Troupe) that performs throughout South Florida to raise money for those in need.
