The Royal Palm Bassmasters held its monthly fishing tournament on Aug. 14 on Lake Okeechobee out of the Clewiston boat ramp.
First place was won by Ed Huff and Mike Dillistin, with five fish weighing 16 pounds, 12 ounces.
Second place was awarded to the team of Randy King and Mike Reitano, with five fish weighing 16 pounds, 6 ounces.
The team of Mike and J.R. O’Connor took third place, with five fish weighing 10 pounds, 5 ounces.
The big fish of the tournament was 6 pounds, 4 ounces, caught by the team of Randy King and Mike Reitano.
The Royal Palm Bassmasters meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Royal Palm Beach Recreation Center. The club is now accepting applications.
