The first-ever Child and Family Connections Uncle Mick’s Charity Golf Tournament was a success, raising more than $10,300 for foster, adoptive and at-risk children in Palm Beach County.
So much of the tourney’s success is due the volunteer committee members who put in so much of their valuable time and effort toward event.
Child and Family Connections also salutes the owner of Uncle Mick’s Bar and Grill, Kenny Martinson, who made this event become a reality. Not only did he help secure donors, sponsors and golfers to raise these funds, he also treated the event committee to a sit-down dinner in July at Nick’s Tomatoe Pie in Jupiter as his thank-you to them.
Event committee members enjoy the evening.
