The Palm Beach County Cooperative Extension Service will hold a residential workshop on hazardous tree assessment Saturday, Aug. 11 at 10 a.m. at the Mounts auditorium (531 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach).
What constitutes a hazardous tree? Which tree is more likely to fail? What do professional arborists look for? Whether you’re looking to hire a professional or just learn more about your own trees, this workshop is a great opportunity to have these questions answered and to see structural defects and potential points of failure.
The majority of the lecture and discussion will take place outdoors (weather permitting).
Admission is free, but participants must call (561) 233-1759 to register.
