FSEA Members Donate Teddy Bears To Parent-Child Center

Throughout the year, Enrolled Agents, members of the Florida Society of Enrolled Agents and the FSEA chapters throughout the state collect teddy bears for donation to the not-for-profit organization Teddy bEArs for Kids. Last year, more than 1,200 bears were collected and distributed in local communities.

On behalf of the Palm Beach Chapter of the FSEA, FSEA President-Elect Jeffrey Schneider and FSEA Executive Vice President Ali Schneider, both of Royal Palm Beach, presented numerous bags of bEArs to the Parent-Child Center. Many of the bears were collected at the chapter’s Shred Fests and from donations dropped off at the office of SFS Tax, Accounting and College Planning Services. The center distributes the bears to children who have been displaced from their homes and are sick and in need of the comfort from a “cuddly new friend” to help ease the trauma they are going through. Palms West Hospital will also be the recipient of the stuffed animals.

The Florida Society of Enrolled Agents is the professional society representing Enrolled Agents in Florida. Members are licensed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service, including examination, collection and appeals functions.
