Dozens of students who achieved their reading goals during the Huntington Learning Center Summer Reading Adventure celebrated last month with a pizza and ice cream party. The students and their families were recognized for reading a total of 240 books, far exceeding the goal of 200. Each student had signed an agreement to read a certain number of books, and most met or exceeded their goal. The students were awarded certificates and “Lamp of Knowledge” trophies signifying their achievements. The Summer Reading Adventure was a huge success and the students have pledged to continue reading and learning.
