For the fourth year in a row, Wellington is getting ready for Trunk or Treat — a safe, family-friendly twist on trick or treating. But Wellington is in need of volunteers to make the event even better than ever. Trunk or Treat will take place Sunday, Oct. 28 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the student parking lot at Wellington High School.
Volunteers are asked to decorate their cars and bring candy to pass out to local children. Participants can enjoy live music, refreshments and a trunk-decorating contest with gift cards for the winner. There will also be a bounce house, face painting, craft tables and a costume contest for children.
Trunk or Treat is made possible through Wellington’s partnership with Wellington High School’s DECA program, the Interfaith Group, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue and Walgreens.
