Caribbean-Americans for Community Involvement (CAFCI) installed its 2013 board of officers at a general membership meeting on Saturday, Jan. 12 at the Harvin Center in Royal Palm Beach. County Commissioner Jess Santamaria spoke about the need for positive role models in the lives of children and urged all CAFCI members to further that cause. Past President Genieve White and Santamaria received certificates of appreciation.
