Join Women Of Note Chorus At PBCHS

Women of all ages who enjoy singing are invited to visit the Women of Note Chorus on Mondays throughout the month of January at Palm Beach Central High School at 7 p.m.

The Women of Note is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a nonprofit music education organization of nearly 25,000 women worldwide who sing four-part a cappella harmony, barbershop style. All over the globe, Sweet Adelines International choruses are joining together to teach the world to sing.

If you join the Women of Note Chorus during January and audition successfully, your first month’s dues will be waived. Bring a friend who loves to sing; if she auditions and joins the chorus, you get an additional month free and your friend gets the first month’s dues waived.

The Women of Note share a love for music and singing barbershop harmony. As a member, you too can experience the exhilaration of performing and singing. Any woman of average singing ability, with or without vocal training, will find a part that fits her voice range with the help of the chorus’ musical leaders and director.

The chorus performs regularly throughout the community, offering its talent for entertainment at civic events and charitable functions. The chorus also presents an annual show each year and participates in regional competition.

The award-winning Women of Note Chorus is made up of teachers, nurses, lawyers, legal assistants, bookkeepers, artists, business owners and homemakers, among others. The choral group delights audiences with four-part a cappella harmony, innovative choreography and dazzling costumes.
