Wellington has joined with the NRI Institute of Health Sciences to announce a scholarship award of $15,000 to one Wellington resident.
The Licensed Practical Nurse program at the Royal Palm Beach campus of Nursing Resources International begins in March. The scholarship will cover the entire cost of the 10-and-a-half-month training program offered by NRI.
Applications for the scholarship are available to pick up at the Wellington Municipal Complex (12300 W. Forest Hill Blvd.) or downloaded from the village web site at www.wellingtonfl. gov.
The completed application must arrive at the Wellington Municipal Complex no later than Feb. 14 at 5 p.m. The Wellington Village Council will make the final determination of the scholarship winner.
