Berean Christian School’s normal uniform looked a little different from Jan. 14-18. The regulation uniform was traded in for costumes that represented each themed day, which included College Game Day, Wacky Tacky Twin Day, Vacation Day and more. Students participated in class competitions through various team-building games, costume contests and skits.
The week culminated on Jan. 18 with the BCS Bulldog basketball teams securing wins over Jupiter Christian School. The Berean girls basketball team defeated the Jupiter Christian Eagles by 2 points, while both the boys junior varsity and varsity basketball teams took sizable leads and secured victories as well.
The homecoming festivities of the evening began with the announcement of the senior’s victory and the presentation of the traditional “spirit stick” in the week-long class competitions. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of homecoming king and queen, Dean Hendricks and Emily Gatlin.
