The Village of Royal Palm Beach will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Royal Palm Beach Commons Park on Saturday, March 2 at 10 a.m. with events continuing until 4 p.m. The park is located at 11600 Poinciana Blvd., just off of Royal Palm Beach Blvd.
The day will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the park led by Mayor Matty Mattioli and the council, as well as other local dignitaries. A food truck invasion will be running throughout the day with gourmet food.
As part of the celebration, entertainment will be provided by local talent beginning at 10 a.m. at various locations within the park. Other activities include inflatable games and rides, and canoe, kayak and paddle boat rentals. Fly your kite or throw your Frisbee on the great lawn, challenge your friends to a volleyball game on the two sand volleyball courts, or just bring your lawn chair or blanket and let your children enjoy the two playscapes on site. And don’t forget a bathing suit, so the children can enjoy the interactive fountain.
