The Seminole Ridge High School competition cheerleaders, coached by Tamara Licavoli, took second place out of 10 teams at the High School State Regional Competition Friday, Feb. 1 in Kissimmee. This is the highest placement in the school’s history, beating out last year’s third-place ranking. The team is determined to continue to strive for success and bring home a state title next year. With only three seniors graduating this year — Taylor Carroll, Belle Dunne and Nicole Hopkins — Seminole Ridge High School stands a chance to win with a possible 23 returning team members.
