BankUnited will help fight hunger in Palm Beach County by hosting a food drive at its area branches — including Wellington — throughout the month of March.
Non-perishable food items can be dropped off at the Wellington BankUnited branch in Wellington Town Square (11924 W. Forest Hill Blvd.) through March 31.
Market President Phyllis Fornabaio announced the food drive, which kicked off March 1.
“BankUnited is pleased to be partnering with the Palm Beach County Food Bank to help meet the food needs of the area’s hungry residents,” she said.
In April, BankUnited’s mobile branch will transport the donated food from each branch to the food bank. Branch managers will volunteer their time to unload and sort the food before it is delivered to those in need. For more info., call (561) 204-3573.
