Great American Cleanup April 13

Wellington is calling on its residents to roll up their sleeves and make a difference in the community with the Great American Cleanup. Wellington is organizing cleanup beautification projects from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13 at Tiger Shark Cove Park and the Folkestone neighborhood off Greenbriar Blvd. Gloves, trash bags and t-shirts will be supplied by Wellington, and volunteers will receive water throughout the morning.

To register for the event, visit www.wellingtonfl.gov and click on the “Great American Cleanup” icon in the events section. Then download the volunteer application form. Completed forms can be returned to the front desk at the Wellington Municipal Complex, or participants can scan and e-mail the form to Community Programs Manager Kim Henghold at khenghold@wellingtonfl.gov. Volunteer registration forms can also be completed on site on the day of the event.
