On Sunday, March 17, the South Florida Chevrolet Dealers will host a free instructional clinic for youth baseball players at Olympia Park in Wellington. Coached by Ripken Baseball, participants will learn the essentials of throwing, fielding and hitting.
The clinic is one of over 200 Chevrolet is hosting this year as part of the Chevrolet Youth Baseball Program. Chevrolet has sponsored free, public baseball clinics for children across the country since 2006.
Olympia Park is located at 9950 Stribling Way in Wellington. The day will start with check-in from noon to 1 p.m., followed by the clinic from 1 to 4 p.m. and a snack at 4 p.m. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
To register, visit rsvp.youthsportswired.com/baseball, click on “West Palm” in the “Please Select Your Market” drop-down menu, enter the password “playball” (all lowercase, no spaces) when asked. Then you will be able to click on a clinic date and complete the registration information. Don’t forget to download the waiver. Each child must have a completed waiver.
