St. Peter’s CEC Fair April 20

St. Peter’s Child Enrichment Center in Wellington will host its 26th Annual Spring Fair themed “Circus Fun for Everyone,” on Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the church lawn located off Forest Hill Blvd. in Wellington.

This is the main fundraiser for the CEC, St. Peter’s Gold Seal-accredited preschool. Last year, more than 1,000 people attended the fair and helped raise money.

“This is the school’s biggest fundraiser, and all the students, staff and parents work hard to make it happen,” CEC Director Pat Banks said. “It is so wonderful to see all the smiles on the children’s faces and to know it’s raising money for the school. The Wellington community looks forward to it each spring as well.”

This year, the fair has a circus theme and will feature a petting zoo, pony rides, trackless train rides, a rock-climbing wall, a bungee trampoline, a 25-foot slide, an obstacle course, bounce houses, games and crafts, as well as a silent auction, bake sale, art show, live entertainment and delicious food. Admission is free. Rides and activities require tickets that can be purchased for 50 cents each. Unlimited access to rides and activities can be purchased for $20.

This year’s auction will feature more than 50 items from a wide array of vendors.
