On Thursday, March 7, Village Music of Wellington’s owners Donna and Steve Willey entertained students at Binks Forest Elementary School with a lesson in the ukulele. This newly established business taught the 1,000-plus students about the history of the ukulele and allowed some students the opportunity to play the unique instrument. Four students actually won ukuleles and lessons by answering questions correctly. They were kindergarten student Andrea Gonzalez, third grader Gina Bernstein, and fifth graders Alexandrea Goldman and Jaden Bruno.
