Guilford College head football coach Chris Rusiewicz this week announced the intention of five more incoming students to play football for the Quakers. Among them is Wellington resident Anthony Pasquale.

The students have made their deposits to the college and will enroll for classes beginning in August.

The announcement raises Rusiewicz’s fourth recruiting class at Guilford to 32 students.

Pasquale lettered three years at the King’s Academy under coach Heath Nivens. A 6-foot-0, 170-pound quarterback, Pasquale threw for 26 touchdown passes and ran for eight more in his senior campaign. He was named team captain in 2012, and earned the team’s Lion Heart Award for consistent and outstanding play on the field.
