Seminole Ridge High School graduate Haley Larson is excelling both on and off the lacrosse pitch at Emmanual College in Franklin Springs, Ga. Larson, who plays in the attack position, was the first student from the school to receive a lacrosse scholarship. She was named captain and leads her team in scoring. She has also excelled academically, making the dean’s list in her first semester. “It is such an awesome experience to play a sport at the collegiate level,” Larson said. Her sister, Tara, also plays lacrosse and currently leads the SRHS girls lacrosse team in goals. Tara hopes to follow in her sister’s footsteps and dreams of playing lacrosse at the University of Florida.
