Ideal Preschool, Ideal Elementary School and Dream Middle School, located in Royal Palm Beach, has announced that for the 2013-14 school year, active police, firefighters and military personnel will each receive a $500 scholarship per family. The scholarship is part of the school’s ongoing commitment to the “Pay it Forward” movement.
Principal and owner Wendy Soderman said that this scholarship is called the “Buddy Pass” in honor of firefighter Buddy Yarbrough, whose twin children completed the journey from preschool through eighth grade at Ideal and Dream.
“What better way to reward these brave professionals who put their lives on the line for us every day?” Soderman said.
Ideal Preschool, Ideal Elementary School and Dream Middle School are private schools in Royal Palm Beach for students who excel in academics, arts and character.
