Wellington held its annual Memorial Day parade and ceremony at the Wellington Veterans Memorial on Monday, May 27. Wellington officials and veterans walked in the parade while the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard and Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue Pipe & Drum Band led the procession down Forest Hill Blvd. to South Shore Blvd. The crowd was asked to observe a moment of silence to remember those who lost their lives, and then speakers gave patriotic addresses.
