The Palms West Amateur Radio Club participated in National Field Day, Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23, at Okeeheelee Park. The American Amateur Radio League holds this 24-hour nationwide drill to simulate the effectiveness of ham radio communications in the event of a disaster.
