Robert Faurot of Royal Palm Beach was awarded his Air Force pilot wings at Laughlin Air Base in Del Rio Texas on May 17.
Faurot will be flying a KC-135 tanker, on which he has been a in-flight refueler for the past 10 years.
His parents are John and Kathy Bell of Royal Palm Beach. He has two sisters, Jessica Fan and Gretchen Faurot, and a nephew Cameron Faurot.
Faurot is a 2000 graduate of Royal Palm Beach High School. He will be stationed for the next six months at Altus Air Base in Oklahoma with his wife, Melissa Will Faurot.
