Royal Palm Beach resident Selena Smith has been nominated for the Athena Award, which honors an individual, young, professional, and community business for professional excellence, mentoring and actively engaging in the promotion of women into leadership roles.
In the past year, Smith graduated with an MBA from the University of Miami, she and her husband celebrated their daughter’s first birthday and she was inducted as president of the Royal Palm Beach Rotary.
“It is truly an honor to be nominated for such a prestigious award,” Smith said. “There are so many remarkable women who have been nominated over the years.”
Smith is director of communications for Families First of Palm Beach County, a countywide nonprofit that creates a safe, healthy and sustainable environment for children and their families through innovative practices.
