Fitness Expo At Convention Center Aug. 17

Beachside Ryde Fitness Studio is teaming up with the Susan G. Komen Foundation to present a fitness expo that will bring family, friends and community together, build energy levels with fitness and raise money to help end breast cancer forever.

The event will be held Saturday, Aug. 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. It is open to the public, and entrance is free with a donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Patrons will be able to try all of the newest fitness equipment and techniques including Kangoo Jumps, the low-impact, high-calorie-burning running boots. Kangoo Jumps take all the pressure off knees, joints and back, burn more calories than any other cardio activity and provide an intense core workout.

Also, try Realryder indoor cycling bikes that riders can steer, lean and balance just like real bikes, and Indo-Row rowing machines that capture all the elements of competitive on-water rowing. It’s a fun and fast way to get fit.

There will also be a kids fitness boot camp — a high-energy, fun-filled exercise class for kids that includes obstacle courses, partner activities, body weight exercises, resistance bands, circuits and more. There will also be a Zumba dance party to liven things up, a variety of vendors, chair massages, raffles and more.

The Palm Beach County Convention Center is located at 650 Okeechobee Blvd. in West Palm Beach. For more info., call (561) 249-8804 or visit www.beachsiderydeinc.com.
