More than a decade after the Sept. 11 attacks, a tribute to the victims and their families in the form of a networking fundraiser will be held Sept. 10 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Selinger Chiropractic & Acupuncture at 7749 Lake Worth Road.
The 9/11 Anniversary Event was formed by Craig Selinger, president of Selinger Chiropractic & Acupuncture, in an effort to raise funds and awareness. Proceeds from the event will go to the Families of Freedom scholarship fund for dependents of those killed or injured in the Sept. 11 attacks and rescue efforts.
“I recognized the unique occasion to articulate the importance of the decade of remembrance for our fellow citizens disabled or killed on Sept. 11,” Selinger said. “I hope we could all give our country and its victims the attention it needs on this special day.”
Attendees will be able to unite and offer contribution as they enjoy business-to-business networking, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, wines, raffle prizes, entertainment and a signature red, white and blue cocktail. Educational dialogue will be offered by healthcare professionals shedding light on fatigue and achieving longevity. All those attending will receive gift bags with great gifts and gift certificates from area businesses.
