Leslie Lilly Joins Arthur Marshall Foundation Board

Leslie Lilly has been named to the board of directors of the Arthur R. Marshall Foundation for the Everglades and Florida Environmental Institute.

Lilly is the author of a regular column on philanthropy in Florida Weekly. Her professional career spans more than 25 years in the charitable sector, most recently at the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, where she served for seven years, the last four as president and chief executive officer.

Lilly spent eight years as founding president and CEO of the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, a regional community nonprofit organization serving the poorest rural communities in the state. She also spent four years as executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Foundation for the Mid South, based in Jackson, Miss., and five years as director of community development and human resources for the North Carolina Rural Economic Development Center.

A member of Leadership Palm Beach County’s Class of 2009, Lilly also serves as a board member for the Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park and is a former chair of the Florida Philanthropic Network.
