The Village of Wellington has honored Elizabeth Arocho as its Employee of the Month for September 2013.
Arocho joined Wellington in January 2005 in the Field Services Department as a meter reader. She later joined the Public Works Department as a receptionist and customer service representative. In 2011, Arocho continued to provide excellent customer service in the village’s new call center.
In her roles, she has provided service with utility billing, served as interim customer service supervisor and most recently was promoted to general customer service supervisor as a result of her exemplary commitment and service to Wellington.
In her time in the community, Arocho has assisted with many events outside the scope of her duties. She was instrumental in creating and updating Wellington manuals and was one of the winners of the “Get App’d” contest.
