Audrie Anthony and trainer Jamie Lawton have taken over Bocoy Stables in Loxahatchee Groves, once home to the Budweiser Clydesdales, in a joint venture.
For the last year, Anthony has being running the family business, Island Jack’s Patio Bar & Grill, and raising more than $10,000 for local charities such as the Big Dog Ranch Rescue and Pure Thoughts Horse Rescue through the Jack Landers Fund.
Lawton, son of renowned dressage trainer and rider Yvonne Barteau, has left the comforts KYB Dressage in Maple Park, Ill., to join Anthony in South Florida to open the newly remodeled facility. His resume includes disciplines such as grand prix dressage, hunter/western pleasure, reining and liberty.
