RPBHS Debaters Win At Princeton Classic

The Royal Palm Beach High School Wildcat Speech & Debate team competed at the Princeton Classic Invitational High School Speech and Debate Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7 and Dec. 8.

The Wildcat Team demonstrated that not only they are among the top-placing schools in Palm Beach County, but also in the country.

The following students received awards: Delisa Stephenson, first place in Dramatic Interpretation; Nikita Grant and Delisa Stephenson, first place in Duo Interpretation; and Alaa Kaki and Denisha Colin, second place in Duo Interpretation.

The Princeton Classic combines Princeton’s tradition of excellence in debate with the opportunity for high school students and coaches to compete among the nation’s best debaters and orators. The tournament is considered one of the biggest in the country, with more than 1,000 participants from more than 100 schools.
