Children’s Miracle Network Pageant Ambassador Amanda Ng recently made her annual trip to the Royal Manor Nursing Home with friends dressed as elves to cheer up the elderly.
Ng has been visiting the Royal Manor for the past five years, ever since her great-grandmother passed away there.
“There are so many people thinking of kids during the holidays, but no one remembers the elderly,” she said.
The kids sang holiday ballads while wishing holiday cheer to the residents in English and Spanish.
“It’s so sad to see them get old, but one lady held my hand because I was able to speak Spanish to her, and she blessed me for helping others,” Valentina Sanchez said.
